Welcome to Confident Kids Therapy, led by Charlotte Veerman Ross, also known as "Char" among her speech friends.

Char is a registered speech-language pathologist with expertise in pediatric speech therapy.  Char is a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia and the British Columbia Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).

Char's approach is family-centered, focusing on teamwork with caregivers and children for effective communication support.  Her recent professional development includes Hanen Training and PROMPT Therapy Approach Training

Meet Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Abbey Franklin! 

Abbey Holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Minot State University. Abbey has experience working with kids of all ages in both the clinic and school setting. She is passionate about providing effective evidence-based intervention to both her clients and their caregivers to help them become empowered to achieve their communication goals.

 

Abbey is originally from Manitoba but has spent the last year down in the Arizona heat. She is beyond excited to be living in the Greater Vancouver area and becoming a part of the BC SLP community. 

 

In her spare time you can find her hiking, rollerblading or chasing the sunset!

Emily Bailey

Emily received a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia and the British Columbia Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).

 

Emily is passionate about working with children with diverse needs. She firmly believes in the importance of collaborating with families and establishing meaningful connections to ensure that each child receives personalized support. Emily strives to create a fun and engaging environment for the child while integrating evidence-based therapy approaches that align with the values of their family. By actively involving families in therapy sessions, they can develop skills and knowledge to continue supporting their child's progress beyond their time together. 

 

Emily grew up in Victoria and recently moved to Ladner from Mount Pleasant. She is looking forward to being a part of the Ladner community. Emily enjoys playing games with friends, developing her golf skills and spending time outside on sunny days.

Meet Occupational Therapist (OT) Olivia! 

Olivia holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and is on the British Columbia Registry
of Autism Service Providers (RASP). Her passion is helping clients increase independence and
engagement in every day activities. Olivia has expertise in working with kids of all disabilities
including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy,
Developmental Coordination Disorder and learning difficulties and feeding challenges. She has
special interests in sensory regulation, fine and gross motor development and visual processing.
Olivia practices with a family centered approach, striving to ensure a safe environment for
everyone. She is trained in the SOS Approach to feeding.
Having grown up in Ladner, she is excited to now be working within this community!
